Files
Nextcloud · like Google DriveNextcloud is your own cloud storage — upload your documents, keep them in sync across devices and share by link. Like Drive, but at home.
It works like a folder that lives on the server and mirrors to your devices. On your computer you get a Nextcloud folder — whatever you drop in is instantly on your phone and on the web too. You share a file or whole folder with a link (optionally with a password and expiry), and older versions can be restored if you overwrite something.
Step by step
- 1
Install the Nextcloud app (App Store or Google Play).
- 2
Enter the server address (see Server above) and confirm.
- 3
Sign in via “Login with Authentik” and grant access.
- 4
Optionally enable Auto upload for phone photos and files.
Tips & troubleshooting
- You can password-protect a share link and give it an expiry date.
- Sync large folders selectively so they don't fill your whole disk.
- The app and web also do Calendar and Contacts if you ever want them.
